They say a woman never feels as beautiful as she does on her wedding day – but these women got the chance to have that feeling one more time.
The group, from Pilgrim Hospital’s special care baby unit, donned their gowns to a charity wedding ball, and raised £2,000 for equipment for the unit.
Male guests were asked to dress as grooms for the event.
Nursery nurse at Pilgrim hospital, Emma Farrington, said: “We are delighted with the response we received from staff and patients at Pilgrim. This is a fantastic amount of money and we are delighted to be able to use this for such important pieces of equipment.”
