Three injured in Wrangle road collision

Three people have been taken to hospital with various injuries following a road coliision at Wrangle last night.

The crash took place on the main A52 road at around 9:20pm.

A green Mazda 323 driven by a 23-year-old Wrangle man was in collision with a grey Toyota Auris driven by a 54-year-old man from Lutton.

A 49-year-old woman was a passenger in the Toyota.

All three were taken to Pilgrim Hospital in Boston with various injuries, none of which are thought to be life-threatening.

A police spokesman said: “It is believed that one of the vehicles involved overtook a Peugeot car shortly before being involved in the head-on collision. We are keen to speak to the driver of the Peugeot.”

The road was closed and eventually re-opened at around 2am
