A SECOND World War-themed event is taking place at RSPB Freiston Shore this weekend.
The reserve used to be an important military site, from where the local Home Guard would defend the south Lincolnshire coast.
Guided tours will be given to see old military buildings and features at the site including a huge ammunition store, a 20ft bunker and machine gun mount.
Visitors will also be treated to a ride in a military truck.
The event will include entry into the large collection of wartime memoribillia from the We’ll Meet Again Mobile WW2 Museum.
There are refreshments and toilet facilties on site.
Tours are run each day, between 10am-4pm.
Entry is £6 (children £4).
