TOP councillors and officers from district councils around Lincolnshire have agreed to attend a meeting about immigration in Boston.
Boston Borough Council leader Peter Bedford invited the members and officers from neighbouring local authorities, and some from further afield to attend a task and finish group meeting to discuss issues around immigration in the borough.
The session is one of a number meetings of the group, which was set up following proposals for an anti-immigration protest march.
Coun Bedford said the leaders and senior officers from other councils throughout the county were invited as immigration issues were something which affected Lincolnshire as a whole, rather than just the local area.
Neither a date nor an agenda have yet been set for the meeting, a council spokesman said.
