Boy in collision with car outside Gosberton Academy

A boy has been involved in a collision with a car outside a Gosberton school, it has emerged today.

The boy was on his to Gosberton Academy in High Street just before 9am on Thursday when the accident happened.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said the boy was “clipped by a wing mirror” and although police and ambulance services were called, there were no injuries to the boy or driver.

Head of school Sarah Gray said: “The ambulance service did attend to check the boy and the driver of the car out, but they weren’t hurt.

“The driver was travelling at a responsible speed but had he not been, it would have been a different story.”
