First a bench - and now a rubbish bin.

The second ‘victim’ of a hit-and-run has just occured in Boston’s Market Place.

The damage was caused within the last hour, leaving the heavy cast-iron bin on its side and uprooting the surface stone it is attached to.

Only a couple of week’s ago The Standard reported on how a vehicle had hit and damaged a bench in the same spot, opposite the entrance to the Herbert Ingram memorial.

CCTV footage is to be examined in an attempt to trace the culprit.
