A bus firm that serves Boston passengers has entered into a consultation with staff over its future.
Centrebus is looking into the operations of Kimes in Lincolnshire, which it now owns.
Kimes runs buses from Boston to Spalding, Kirton and Lincoln but a spokesman for Centrebus said there are no plans to change these services.
Centrebus commercial director Dave Shelley said: “We have two weeks ago started a full consultation with staff at our Kimes business.
“There are options for the future, one being closure, but the consultation will drive the decision making process.
“It would be inappropriate to comment further at this time, as we want to ensure the internal consultation is a full and frank one.
“However, regardless of the outcome of that process, we are not currently envisaging changes to timetables of bus services operating in the area.”
