Derailed freight train in Nottingham affecting Boston rail users

Rail passengers in Boston are being forced to use replacement bus services following the derailment of a freight train in Nottingham.

East Midlands trains are putting on buses for people travelling on the Nottingham to Skegness line which runs through Boston while the disruption is cleared.

The incident occurred at Nottingham station and is said to have damaged the track.

Network Rail says passengers are facing delays of 90 minutes while the issue is fixed.
