Problems with a level crossing in Boston have cause traffic issues in the town centre.

The barriers at the crossing on the A52 near Downtown became stuck just before 3pm, police have said, leading to tailbacks along Sleaford Road.

Engineers from Network Rail arrived at the scene at 4pm, and manually lifted the barriers, which had failed. They have remained on the site to continue operating the barriers to allow traffic to move freely while they investigate the issue and try to solve it.
