Roadworks are set to close off a busy town centre road in Boston for five days.

London Road level crossing, near The Range store, will be shut for five days for maintenance and resurfacing works from Monday, January 26.

The official diversion routes will be in place for northbound traffic via A16 Spalding Road, Nelson Way, Liquorpond Street, High Street and southbound traffic via A16 John Adams Way/ A16 Spalding Road and London Road.

Andy Wharff, area highways manager said: “These works will see the replacement of the damaged concrete sections on the crossing by the Port of Boston and we may take the opportunity to complete some patching works either side of the level crossing.”
