A LONDON man has been left suffering from serious injuries following a collision in Sibsey over the weekend.
The 66-year-old man was driving a white Renault 11 along Main Road in the village when he was in collision with a black Jeep near to the Star Inn on Saturday (July 23) at around 3.30pm.
He was taken to Pilgrim Hospital and remains in the intensive care unit suffering from various fractures and a head injury.
All other people involved, including the 57-year-old woman who was driving the jeep, a 58-year-old woman who had been travelling in the Renault, and two men, aged 62 and 23 who had been travelling in the jeep, suffered minor injuries. They were all from the London area.
The road was closed for several hours and reopened at 8.30pm.
