An unfortunate wrong turn by a lorry led to a night of catastrophe for the residents on one house in Boston’s Powell Street last night (Monday).

A driver on his way to Metsa Wood accidentally went down the dead end road, and when he started to reverse out, a string of issues developed.

The articulated lorry became caught up in overhead wires, which were attached to a chimney on one of houses. The force of the large lorry managed to pull the stack of the roof, and on to the residents’ caravan roof, causing damage.

Nobody was injured in the incident, which happened at around 6.20pm.
