Part of Tattershall Road in Boston will shut this weekend for resurfacing work.
The closure will be in place between the Grand Sluice Bridge and Rawsons Lane junctions while the works are carried out on Saturday and Sunday.
There will be access for residents and businesses only. A signed diversion will be in place via Rawsons Lane, Horncastle Road and Norfolk Street.
Hamish McConchie, Principal Highways Officer, said: “This essential resurfacing work will extend the life of the road, meaning we won’t need to return to carry out more repairs for several years.”
This comes after works to create a cycle path alongside John Adams Way have meant a lane has had to shut in each direction, leaving long tailbacks throughout the town.
