Pedestrian suffers head injury in John Adams Way collision

A 42-year-old man had to be taken to Pilgrim Hospital with a head injury after being hit by a car on John Adams Way in Boston this morning.

The incident happened on the south carriageway near Haven Bridge, shortly after 11am this morning (Sunday).

The 42 year-old pedestrian was taken to Pilgrim Hospital suffering from a head injury.

The vehicle involved was a Nissan NV200 driven by a man in his 70s from Cumbria. He was shaken but unhurt.

Any witnesses who have not already spoken to officers should call Lincolnshire Police on 101, quoting the incident number 157 of October 5.
