MORE details are now available about the accident on the Boardsides yesterday (Tuesday) evening.
The collision involved two lorries and a car.
At about 4.40pm a blue Mercedes lorry, a Daf lorry and a grey Toyota Auris were involved in an accident near the Hubberts Bridge junction.
The 47-year-old driver of the car, from Lincoln, was taken to Pilgrim Hospital with what police described as ‘seat belt injuries’.
The driver of the Daf was a 64-year-old from Gloucestershire, and the Mercedes driver was a sixty-three-year-old from Horncastle.
The road was partially blocked.
