A 47-year-old woman from Coningsby has been injured after being in collision with a car in Boston.

Emergency services were called to Horncastle Road outside Gala Bingo shortly after 4pm yesterday.

Lincolnshire police said the woman suffered serious, but not life-threatening facial injuries.

The driver of a Seat Leon involved in the collision was unhurt.

The road was closed at the Norfolk Street junction and at the Wide Bargate roundabout - but re-opened at 8pm.

Any witnesses who have not already spoken to police, are asked to call 101, quoting incident number 333 of August 8.
