A POLICE spokesman has confirmed a car and a lorry were involved in the accident which closed Fishtoft Road earlier today.
They said emergency services were called to the scene at the junction with Rectory Road at about 1.10pm.
They added the lorry was carrying slated brine cabbage water.
One of the people involved in the accident injured their shoulder, although at this point it is unknown who.
The incident was originally thought to have occurred on Skirbeck Road but was later confirmed to be Fishtoft Road.

Friday, September 21, 2.34pm - SKIRBECK Road has been closed by police following an accident at the junction of the main road and Church Road.
Emergency services have been called to the scene, which is opposite Ann’s Fish and Chip shop on Fishtoft Road, earlier this afternoon.
Police are directing traffic away from the scene.
