A woman is in a critical, but stable condition in hospital after a crash involving a lorry and two cars on the A52 near Swineshead on Friday.

It happened in Abbey Lane, near the Bullens Lane turning, where a silver Vauxhall Corsa, green flatbed rigid wagon and blue Suzuki Wagon collided just before 12.30pm.

One woman was airlifted to Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham, with serious injuries, while three others were taken to Pilgrim Hospital, Boston, and treated for more minor injuries.

An off-duty paramedic who came across the scene helped medical staff, LIVES First Responders and firefighters with those injured and police want to hear from anyone who saw the accident.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said: “The Corsa and wagon were travelling in the direction of Grantham, while the Suzuki Wagon was travelling in the direction of Boston.”
