Update: A16 is cleared following road accident at Stickney

The A16 has been reopened following this morning’s crash at Stickney.

Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue said the accident involved a single vehicle and all of the people inside managed to get out unaided.

Fire crews remained at the scene to make the vehicle safe.

Eralier: Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue warned moments ago of delays on the A16 between Boston and Spilsby.

Crews from Boston and Spilsby are currently dealing with a road traffic accident at Main Road, Stickney.

There are no details of casualties or vehicles involved at this stage.

Chief Insp Jim Tyner is warning motorists to take care this morning as the accident in Main Road is one of four reported this morning in the Stickney, East Keal and Spilsby areas,
