Police have named the man whose body was found in the Maud Foster Drain on Friday.
He has been formally identified as Aleksandr Vasilevskij, aged 27, a Lithuanian national who had been living locally in the Windsor Bank area of Boston.
He was discovered by a member of the public in the Mount Bridge area of Skirbeck Road and recovered by a police underwater search unit.
Lincolnshire Police are treating his death as ‘unexplained’.
The coroner is expected to open and adjourn an inquest tomorrow.
