UPDATE: Driver arrested after teenager injured in Boston collision bailed by police

The driver of a vehicle who was arrested following a collision in Boston this morning (Wednesday) which saw a cyclist taken to hospital has been bailed by police.

A police spokesman has confirmed the man, who had been driving a Suzuki Swift, had been bailed until December.

He was arrested in connection with the incident, which took place on Lister Way shortly after 5.30am.

Wednesday, 9.16am - A teenager has been taken to hospital for non life-threatening injuries following a collision in Boston this morning (Wednesday).

The incident involving the 18-year-old cyclist took place on Lister Way shortly after 5.30am and also involved a Suzuki Swift.

Police say the driver of the Suzuki, who they say is a local man, has been arrested in connection with the incident and is currently being interviewed.

Any witnesses are asked to call 101, quoting incident number 25 of October 19.
