Two vehicles were involved in a collision near the busy Hubberts Bridge crossroads this morning.

A police spokesman said the collision, between a Ford Fiesta and Isuzi Trooper, took place at 7.50am today (Wednesday) near the junction with the Boardsides and the B1192.

The Fiesta was driven by a 31-year-old woman from Sutterton and the Isuzi driver was a 64-year-old from Antons Gowt.

Both are said by police to have suffered minor injuries.

An ambulance was on the scene but it is not known if either driver had to be taken to the Pilgrim Hospital for a treatment

Highways officers were called to the scene because of leaking brake fluid and it is understood police were directing traffic around it.
