Arson has been ruled out as the cause of a house fire in Boston’s Main Ridge East last night.
Emergency services closed off the road near United Carpets and Beds and Eagles fish and chips at around 5.45pm to deal with the blaze.
A Lincolnshire Police spokeman has said today that there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the fire. The blaze caused extensive damage to the house, and the fire service has now condemned the building.
Main Ridge East in Boston has been closed off by the emergency services.
Three police cars and three fire engines are on the scene, near to United Carpets and Eagles fish and chip shop.
An eyewitness said the incident appeared to be a house fire, although this is yet to be confirmed.
