UPDATE: Workshop on fire in Kirton

Crews attending a fire at a workshop in Kirton have confirmed no-one has been hurt in the incident.

A spokesman confirmed the workshop to have contained motorcycles.

It has been named locally as R.A. Wilson Motorcycles.

The fire service do not yet know what caused the fire but are still on site. One extra machine from Spalding has also been called into action and a hydraulic platform is being used.

Friday, 11.36pm - Crews are currently in attendance at a workshop on fire in Kirton.

Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue have tweeted that four appliances are at the blaze on Willington Road - including Kirton, Donnington and two from Boston

They are using four breathing apparatus, three hose reel jets, one main jet and a ‘cobra’ to deal with the fire.
