TICKET sales are hotting up for the Boston Standard’s special variety show – and with just over a week until we take to the stage, you should make sure you get your tickets soon.
The event at Blackfriars Theatre has been organised to mark the newspaper’s centenary, and it will give us the chance to celebrate the occasion with the people who matter most – our readers.
The show will feature some of the best of Boston’s talent, and will provide a real showcase for performers in the area at the same time.
The bill includes the Boston Grammar School Schuhplattlergruppe, who will be performing German-style dance, the United Cheer Team, which has a routine including members of all its groups, and a performance by AJ Dance including many of its members.
Also treading the boards at the Spain Lane venue will be rapper Ty Dalby, Elvis impersonator Ginty Elding, Adele impersonator Sam Sillett and more.
Bullet Tooth has had to pull out of the line-up, as one of its members is out of the country.
With tickets priced at just £3 per person, or £10 for a family of four, this show is great value for all the family.
And if that is not enough encouragement to come along, the event is supporting two good causes – Blackfriars Theatre and the Butterfly Hospice Trust.
The show will take place at 7pm on Sunday, July 8.
Tickets are available from the Boston Standard’s office on Church Lane or the Butterfly Hospice Shop on the town’s Emery Lane.
