NOAH would have been proud of the help offered to Lincolnshire’s animal ark recently, after a Boston vet surgery raised more than £1,700 to look after the animals.

Marshlands Vets, on Field Street, held a special event to raise money to raise money for the Lincs Ark Animal Welfare last month, and along with having a great time, they managed to raise £1,700.25.

Staff, customers and guests enjoyed a fun-filled night including a quiz, a raffle, and an auction led by Nicholas Witherick, who has appeared on a number of TV shows.

More than 100 people attended the event.

Anna Bourne, from the surgery, told The Standard: “It was really good fun. We had a lovely time and it all went very well. Thanks to all the local businesses who generously donated the prizes. We would not have raise so much money without their help.”
