A FLY past by a Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Hurricane was one of the attractions at Frampton’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations on Saturday.
The event was due to be held in the grounds of Frampton Hall but a combination of high winds and muddy conditions meant the attractions moved inside St Mary’s Church.
That didn’t spoil the fun however, with stalls and games, an exhibition of 60 years of history, cream teas and entertainment from Kirton Primary School choir, singer Dave Logan and a magic show.
There were also children’s playground rides in the grounds of the church, model boats and an exhibition of paintings from primary school children.
This video shows the fly past as it came over St Mary’s Church and Frampton Hall, where the grounds were opened by by Lord and Lady Davies for the day.
We’ve got 13 stories and 26 pictures in our second Diamond Jubilee round-up in tomorrow’s Boston Standard.
