Members and supports of the Merchant Navy Association were joined by town dignitaries and the public to honour the brave men and women who kept our island nation afloat during both World Wars.
The Boston and South Lincolnshire Branch held the service at the town’s war memorial including a two minute silence.
Branch chairman Roy Glencross gave a welcome address, while father Paul Noble lead the service with words from the Mayor of Boston and Admiral of the Wash Coun Richard Austin and the Lord Lieutenant of Lincolnshire Toby Dennis.
Branch secretary Alexandra Hern paid homage to the seaman while Margaret Bafico laid the wreath.
