CCTV has emerged showing the shocking moment a drink-driver crashed into a fish and chip shop in Boston.
The footage shows how a car crashed into Eagles Fish and Chip Shop restaurant’s front window at 8.41pm on September 24.
Two staff members ran out of the Eagles fish and chip shop in Boston, Lincs, after the silver Honda Accord smashed into the building.
The driver was caught and held down until police arrived on the scene.
Raimonhas Gailrunas, 26, was charged with driving a vehicle with alcohol above the limit, driving without due care and attention, failing to stop after a road accident and driving without insurance.
He pleaded guilty at Lincoln Magistrates Court on Friday, September 25, and received an 18 month driving ban and a community order.
The collision left a gaping hole in the front of the restaurant.
