Crowds turned out to get a glimpse of HRH Princess Anne when she visited Boston today.
The royal was in town to officially open the Puritan Pathway which runs around the iconic Stump.
She met with local dignitaries, church officials and members of the Historic Bostons Partnership, among others.
Some members of the public also gave the princess flowers and a card to pass on to Prince William and Kate Middleton on the birth of their new baby.
The historic project, completed earlier this year, features 13 stone memorials to commemorate the puritans who left the town for Boston Massachusetts in the 1600s.
