Video: Royal visit to The Stump

Crowds gathered in Boston today (Thursday) for the arrival of a royal guest.

St Botolph’s Church had a visit from The Princess Royal this afternoon.

Princess Anne is the patron of the Boston Stump Restoration and Development appeal and visits Boston regularly.

The purpose of her visit today was to open the new boiler house at The Stump.

Some of those who turned out for the Princess had travelled from at least as far as Skegness.

Princess Anne arrived just after 1pm this afternoon.
