The Customer Care Award winners have shown how others can take a leaf out of their book – with the winners Watersone’s book shop.
On accepting the ward manager Stuart Wormald said: “It’s a nice pleasant surprise. It’s nice to be nominated.
Sue Still who also attended the ceremony said the staff try to be ‘friendly and helpful’ and ‘treat people like we would like to be treated in a shop’.
When asked what was the strangest request Stuart added: “The weirdest one was a lady come in for a shredder – I was a bit worried about that but we sent her in the right direction and she seemed to be happy.”
Highly Commended in this category was Boston Electrical Services, with their nominator saying they always work to help all customers find exactly what they need.
