CHILDREN gave the dogs a run for their money at a terrier race held at Woodlands Organic Farm.
Crowds watching the spectacle at the Kirton farm saw terriers race after the dummy rabbit. But as most were confused about which way they should be running, the youngsters stepped in to have a go themselves.
Visitors to the farm’s open day were treated to a whole host of attractions, including stalls, meat cooked in an earth oven and tractor rides.
There was also the chance to meet some of the farm’s inhabitants, including the curly coat pigs, turkeys and Lincoln red cattle.
