AN INCIDENT which resulted in numerous fire engines, police cars an an ambulance heading to William Lovell Church of England School was a false alarm, the headteacher has confirmed.
Andrew Fulbrook told The Standard this morning that a ‘strange smell’ of unknown origin discovered in the science labs prompted the school to put the critical incident management plan into place and calling out the emergency services.
Mr Fulbrook said fire crews eventually put the issue down to a suspected drain back up, but added they said there was good intent from staff at the Stickney school.
Emergency crews were at the Stickney school for around two and a half hours.
We have now uploaded video footage from the scene yesterday.
