Village gears up for art exhibition

ORGANISERS are promising the best annual exhibition of amateur art in eatern England in Wyberton next week.

The art and flower exhibition is held at Wyberton Church and begins with a preview evening next Thursday, running then from 10am until 4pm each day until Sunday.

Coun Richard Austin said: “There are usually over 200 paintings on show as well as other works of art and most available for sale.”

Admission is free, with donations encouraged to the church.

The preview evening on Thursday starts at 7pm and also features the Spalding Ukulele Orchestra, cheese and wine.

Tickets are £7 and are available on the door.
