Village makes preparations for Christmas

CLOUGH CHURCH - There will be a 9am Christmas morning service at Clough Church.

There may be Christingle services in Clough and Quadring.

The Rev Ian Walters handed out a plan for the future document which gives his vision for the future of parishes. Over the next two years the plan includes ways to reach out to the community. He wants to form a community trust with people who can help achieve this.

l The Rev Ian Walters presided over a meeting of the Gosberton Clough and Risegate St.Gilbert and St. Hugh’s parochial church council.

The decoration of the hall by the probation service went well.

A pre-Christmas tea will be at 2pm on Thursday, December 15.

There will be a carol service at St.Gilbert and St. Hugh on December 11, at 6pm. The Christian Unity service is on December 22, at 3pm.

l LIVES - Lincolnshire Integrated Voluntary Emergency Services (LIVES) is looking for people to be trained as first responders.

They really need volunteers in the Risegate and the Clough areas, as well as in Gosberton, plus another one in Quadring.
