THE Rotary Club of Boston has made a donation of £1000 to Boston’s homeless charity Centrepoint Outreach.

A trolley challenge which took place at the Boston store in December raised £500 towards the worthy cause, and the club managed to obtain an additional £500 from the Rotary Foundation Future Visions fund, so that the charity would receive a healthy funding boost to continue its good works.

Based in Red Lion Street, with a shop and drop in centre, Centrepoint is a local Christian charitable organisation, working with and for homeless, lonely and vulnerable people.

The charity has helped 12,500 people in the last 10 years.
