A plan to create a memorial garden in Wyberton for road crash victims across Lincolnshire is bidding for cash from the Aviva Community Fund.

The plan is to develop a peaceful and lasting space in the grounds of Westgate Woods for family, relatives and friends to come and remember those who have died in tragic circumstances on the county’s roads.

Organiser Anne Bourne, whose daughter Louise Nuttell of Swineshead died in a crash in 2004, is urging people to visit www.aviva.co.uk/good-thinking/community-fund/

It will ask you to register and once you have done that, you will have up to ten votes per person to use.

Then search projects for “Lincolnshire Road Victims Memorial” and you can use all ten votes to support the appeal.

Meanwhile, if you want to make a donation then you can pay in to the Louise and Sarah Memorial Fund at Lloyds Bank, account number 01303486, sort code 30-91-04.
