Boston boxer Callum Johnson cut the ribbon on the town’s newest shopping centre, Waterfall Plaza, last Thursday.
Several businesses opened at the beginning of the week but an official event, organised by Drurys Estate Agents was described by a spokesman for the firm as ‘a huge success with hundreds of people supporting it’.

Callum, along with shoppers, were treated to a welcome drink, carol singing, Santa’s Grotto and free entry into a raffle at the Bank Street centre.

The shopping centre has 18 units all of which are occupied by local, independent business people. Developer Paul Wilkinson previously said he wants to ‘inject Hollywood glamour and glitz’ to Boston.
