A woman has been left with severe facial injuries following an assault in Boston at the weekend.
The victim suffered a head injury, lost a tooth and needed several stitches to her lips after the attack at about 3pm on Sunday.
Police said the 32-year-old recalled approaching a group of men when she was walking along Gassy Pad towards Irby Street. She said she had no recollection of getting from there to Carlton Road, where she was collected by an ambulance.
Officers are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the attack, or seen an injured woman walking towards Carlton Road, to come forward and help with inquires.
