FUNDRAISERS rode a bicycle made for two 37 miles on Monday, raising at least £600 for charity.

Lee Mitchell, 19, and Andy Smith, 22, rode the bike from the Duke of Wellington, in Midville, to the Clock Tower in Skegness and back, in aid of the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.

They were joined on their journey by Stacie Wilson, 19, Keyley Taylor, 18, and Sophie Potter, 22.

Duke of Wellington landlady Dawn Wilson said it took the group an hour and a half to get there and an hour to get back.

She added that the boys relaxed with a drink and a burger when they got back to the pub.

The group were the youngest members on the Duke’s fundraising committee.

The tandem bike was created by Andy and friend Ben Isaac.
