Young peoples’ views wanted by youth council

Boston Youth Council wants younger residents to air their views on what the priorties should be for the borough.

The youth council’s 12 members, aged 11 to 18, have used their first few meetings to draw up a questionnaire for young people to help them draw up a programme of work.

Chairman Ben Samra said: “The questionnaire was put together after a great deal of deliberation and it is important, if young people are to feel they really have a say about matters which concern them, that they respond. This is their opportunity to have their say in a forum which will really represent them.”

Young people can share their views by completing the questionnaire and returning it to Boston Youth Council, c/o Maddy Eyre, Local Communities Development Officer, Boston Borough Council, Municipal Buildings, West Street, Boston, Lincolnshire, PE21 8QR
