HAVE the grass-cutters gone on strike? Or at least a go-slow?
I’m sure readers have noticed what a mess the grass verges and amenity areas are now allowed to get into.
Whether it is Boston Mayflower or the council who are to blame, it is up to the local authority to maintain reasonable standards within the Boston borough area.
Several weeks are allowed to pass nowadays before we see a grass-cutter and it is just not acceptable.
I guess the reasons are cut-backs and having to save money but the results are eyesores of the highest order as some areas throughout the borough are looking decidedly neglected.
