I HAVE lived in officers’ quarters for the last 28 years and we have never had any problem with the prisoners in all that time.
When they go out to work or on community work they have to have a special licence.
These prisoners are nearing the end of their sentence so when let out for good the reason they went in there will not have changed.
Hopefully they will have seen the error of their ways.
No guarantee though but then is anything in life?
So, I think the lady who lives in King Street at least four miles away is panicking about something that is 99.9 per cent unlikely to affect her.
