THE Two Minute Silence will be celebrated at 11am on Friday, November 11.
Your readers are invited to join the Legion to mark this event at the Boston War Memorial or Kirton War Memorial.
The Legion collected (and then spent) just over £700,000 last year in Lincolnshire. Collected by the generosity of the people of Lincolnshire, especially that of the people in the Boston area.
Remembrance Sunday, on Sunday, November 13, will see a change to the normal plans due to the developments in the Market Place. Instead of mustering outside Marks & Spencer as we’ve done for many years we will start the parade from outside The New England Hotel, near the old Poultry Market at 10.30am, with the Civic Party starting fromThe Boston & County Club instead of from The Assembly Rooms.
After the service in St Botolph’s Church, to which everybody is invited, the parade will go down Strait Bargate instead of into The Market Place.
We Will Remember Them.
