Thank you for vet’s support

OUR researchers here at the Animal Health Trust in Newmarket recently received a donation of £255 as a result of fundraising activity carried out by Boston vet Alistair Mitchell and his staff at Pilgrim Veterinary Services.

The sum obtained suggests that both those who donated the prizes and those who bought quiz sheets were especially generous.

We would like to take this opportunity in passing on our thanks to all concerned.

The money has been allocated towards our canine genetics research as requested. Dr Cathryn Mellersh and her team send their personal thanks.

The AHT Canine Genetics Team are working on several projects including inherited conditions such as late onset ataxia (LOA) in the Parson Russell Terrier and hereditary cataracts (HC) in the golden retriever.
