JACK Motson, of Tooley Lane, Wrangle, has died in Nottingham City Hospital after illness. He was 73.
Born in Friskney, Mr Motson lived there for three years, then the rest of his life in Wrangle.

A married man, he is survived by wife Irene, son Shaun, sister Nancy and grandchildren Taylor, Paige, Brooke, Ciara and Devon.

Mr Motson was a television engineer and ran his own business – Jack Motson TV – in Wrangle for nearly 50 years. He retired in March.

Mr Motson enjoyed do-it-yourself, watching television and films, and eating fish and chips.
The funeral was conducted by the Rev Marc Cooper and was followed by cremation.

Chief family mourners were: Irene Motson (wife), Shaun Motson (son), Charmaine Motson (daughter-in-law), Jean Sykes (sister-in-law), Nancy Miller (sister), and other family members.

Arrangements by F. E. Addlesee and Son.
