MARJORIE (Madge) Rebecca Smalley, of Meadows Edge Nursing Home, Boston, and formerly of Church Road, Wigtoft, has died at Meadows Edge following illness. She was 87.
Born in Toynton, Spilsby, she lived in Wigtoft for 72 years.
A widow, she is survived by son Aubrey, granddaughter Angela, grandson Ian and great-grandchildren Samuel Smalley and Oliver Clifton.

Mrs Smalley worked in service for the Towell family of Boston, on a farm, and then did housework for the Tunnard family of Casterton House, Wigtoft.
She enjoyed knitting and looking after her home and family.
Mrs Smalley was a keen dominoes player with her late husband and friends.

The funeral at Wigtoft Parish Church was conducted by the Rev Andrew Burnett and followed by interment in Wigtoft churchyard.

Chief family mourners were: Aubrey and Pam Smalley (son and daughter-in-law), Angela Clifton (granddaughter), Ian Smalley (grandson), Gordon and Audrey Bates, Roy and Kath Bates (brothers and sisters-in-law), Joan and Gerald Pybus (niece and husband), Andrew Bates, Dean Bates, Robert Smalley (nephews), Martin and Trudie Bates (nephew and wife), Jenny and Hannah Bates (niece and great-niece), Jane and Tony Stanley (niece and husband), Geoff Harris (cousin), Carole Clayton, Susan Oglesbee (half-cousins). Unable to attend: Adrian Clifton, Adela Smalley (grandchildren)
