NORA Dickings, of Bladon Estate, Fishtoft, has died in Pilgrim Hospital following a short illness. She was 86.
Born in Old Leake, she lived in the area all her life.
A widow, she leaves daughters Maureen, Lillian and Evelyn, sons Dick and Charles, sister Jean, 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Mrs Dickings worked on local farms until she retired.
She was a member of Fishtoft Forget-Me-Not Club until she was unable to attend due to illness.

The funeral, conducted by the Rev Andrew Higginson and the Rev Wesley Loane, was held at St Helena's Church, Leverton, and was followed by interment in Benington churchyard.
Chief family mourners were: Mr and Mrs C. Taylor (daughter and son-in-law), Mr and Mrs D. Dickings (son and daughter-in-law), Mrs M. Dickings (daughter-in-law), Mr and Mrs M. Lambert (sister and brother-in-law), June and Pete, Lynne, Ken and Helen, Paul and Sally, Glen, Sally and Andy, Robert and Sophie, Lee (grandchildren and partners), Mark, Joanne, Charles, Ben, Jack, Patrick, Lucy, Nathan, Emma (great-grandchildren), and many other nieces, nephews and cousins.
