ALAN James William Burge, of Swineshead Road, Wyberton Fen, has died suddenly in Pilgrim Hospital. He was 65.
Born in Edgware, London, he had lived in the area for 23 years. A married man, he leaves wife Carol and brother Rick.
Mr Burge was employed by Boston Borough Council as a refuse operative and LGV driver. He retired in February of this year.

Away from work he enjoyed gardening.
The funeral took place at Boston Crematorium and was followed by cremation.
The service was conducted by Major Graham House, of the Salvation Army.

Chief family mourners were: Carol Burge (wife), Richard and Janet Burge (brother and sister-in-law), Joyce Scripps and Maureen Foulser (sisters-in-law), Susan, Colin and Jessica Hampshire (niece, husband and daughter), Tony and Jody Scripps (nephews).
